Wood Floors

Wood floors have long been used to enhance the value, beauty, and character of our living spaces. Today, modern harvesting and reclamation practices, along with improved manufacturing and finishing processes, make traditional hardwood floors an even more attractive, affordable, and a versatile option for our living spaces.

Material

There are many different species of wood with almost an endless array of colors, patterns, and installation options to choose from. Whether it’s Unfinished Wood, Prefinished Wood, or Bamboo, your options are endless.

Refinishing

Refinishing your hardwood floors is a great way to revitalize and bring the life back into your floors, without having to go through the troubles and expenses of installing brand-new flooring. The process involves removing the top layer of the covering materials using a sander, which digs down past scratches, stains or imperfections, leaving you with a fresh surface to be stained and sealed with a protective coating.

Refinishing Options

For all types of hard floors.

We were among the first to adopt new practices for dustless refinishing, hand applied dyes, stains, European finishes, low voc waterborne finishes, as well as traditional polyurethane finishes. We make those techniques a standard part of our craftsmanship.

The Craftsmanship

We treat every new finish or refinishing project as a unique opportunity to add color, finish and also restore beauty, durability, and functionality to your floor. Our experienced professionals will assess your floor’s condition and create a custom finish or restoration plan depending on the material, its condition, and the type of finish you would like to use.

The Equipment

We pride ourselves on protecting home by removing the dust carcinogens with 30HP dust collectors that pull dust directly from the sanding machine into a backpack container. Please ask us about this. This means there’s virtually no chance for particles to escape into the environment or the air you breathe, and no heavy residue left on your newly finished surface.

Pigment Dye

The owner’s choice of a deep blue color makes a statement, its a pure deep blue pigment dye.

Color Stain

We used an ebony color stain on this white oak floor to lend a more urban feel to this room.

Dark Stain

The dark stain on this oak floor contrast nicely with the light cherry floor in the adjoining room.
